Escape From Buzz-Free

Episode 8 of The Common Man Chronicles, “Escape from Buzz-Free,” drops us headfirst into the heart of enemy territory — and the only way out is through sabotage, teamwork… and just a little clumsiness.

Trapped inside Buzz-Free’s sprawling warehouse, our heroes are neck-deep in crates, conveyor belts, and cold fluorescent light. The Common Man keeps the mission clear: sabotage what they can and get out fast. Fancy Pants, predictably, wants no part in the mess — but still fans himself while offering snarky commentary. Boogie, meanwhile, does what Boogie does best: accidentally trip into a barrel and unleash chaos.

Beans go flying. Lights start flashing. And somewhere in the chaos, The Common Man spikes an entire batch of Buzz-Free’s next release with real coffee. Mission accomplished?

Not quite.

As the security system kicks in, Boogie stumbles again — this time nearly falling into a vat of Caffnil X. Fancy Pants, to everyone's surprise (including his own), catches him mid-fall. A brief, awkward moment of heroism that neither of them talks about.

Then comes the escape: emergency exit, red lights, alarms blaring — WEEEOOOO! — and one last sprint out the fire door, Fancy Pants clutching his stool like a lifeline.

They’re out.

But not safe.
